Thought this may interest you if you’re a high school/juniors coach . . .
On January 30th, next year, my College (Washington College) will be hosting LightningTalks 2010. A first of its kind symposium for high school rowing coaches who want to finding greater success with their coaching.
Three things will make this event unique:
First: There will be some great speakers presenting info that all rowing coaches would love to hear (I know I cannot wait to learn from them). Each speaker will have 15 minutes to impart his/her wisdom. Fifteen minutes. Fast and furious.
Second: The cost (I know you were wondering) . . . zippo. Nada. Free. For those coaches who register and get in under the deadline the cost is free. And that includes a great lunch.
Third: There are only 60 spots available. Yup, only 60. And 46 are already gone.
Why are we doing this?
- To give back to the rowing community
- To showcase our great school
- To help coaches be more successful
- To foster networking between coaches and resources in the Mid-Atlantic region.
How do I sign up?
If you think you could be more successful but are stuck, and you can be in Maryland on January 30th, sign up (registration will close when the first 60 spots are taken).
And if you can’t come, let someone else know. Maybe they could share what they learn with you.
Cheers,
Mike
