I think if you look at the Flux Capacitor you will find your problem.
It sounds like it only getting 5 Gigawatts
thanks, that is awesome!
Ha! Good one. And our boat can’t afford to lose any more time. Hope NASA can offer a fix.
Same thing happend to me last year so I mounted the impeller backwards and now I am 20 seconds faster per 250 meters.

If you replace the sensing electronics with a standard 4 phase stepper motor chopper drive, and back drive the sensing coil, you can dump 1/3 Hp into spinning the impeller! Our crews have been able to make awesome sprints in the last 100 m with the boost from our reworked NK speedcoach!
Mike,
nice one – did they try with the blades around the other way?. On a serious note, a number of blokes in the Canberra Rowing Club have picked up on the new NK app that ports into an iphone – you end up with a very cost effective & versatile piece of kit that avoids some of the pitfalls with the mechanical log metres. see link: http://www.nkhome.com/rowing/mobileapps.html
Can I just tell you, you guys crack me up!
And I’m going get one of the iphone apps and review it . .
Nice try Mike – and an excellent way of getting brand recognition.
By coincidence, my brother works for NASA and they use the impellers on the space shuttles to gauge take off speed. No wonder their timings were all out
