We roll our straps on bright yellow plastic wheels - the type used to hold electric cords (cheap at the hardware store). Simply link them together, make the first couple of wraps by hand, then turn the wheel to roll them up. You can roll them up "two abreast". One wheel will hold ~20-25 straps and lasts about 6 years. The wheels are easy to store and transport. The straps are easy to unroll. When loading/unloading, the wheels can be hung on a trailer support bar for easy access. The only difficulty is accessing a particular strap - not a problem if all your straps are alike and of similar age.
