I understand that if you were to use a 5,3 for example this would result in less tendency to "dig" at the catch and come out early at the finish, but isn't that just the fault of the crew if it happens? I'm trying to rig an 8 now, and I'm wondering which inserts to start with. I'm presuming 4,4. It is for a J18 8+. Currently some inserts are 4,4 and some are 5,3!
